Marc Bolan/T.Rex, Roxy Music and/or Gary Glitter would all be good, but I certainly also dig The New York Dolls. As you may recall, there was a local band a few years ago called Chariot < http://web.mac.com/ryanberg71/GlitterChariot2/Glitter_Chariot.html > that had the Glam-thing going on, but they called it quits when former U.S.F. professor and artist Ryan Berg moved to L.A. with the dream of doing a Dolls-inspired film - and (sadly) I doubt we have a lot of glitter kids around these days. That said, GREAT stuff to chose from in this category! -- jade
All audio samples are for enjoyment purposes only. If anyone feels that the posting of mp3's ripped from out-of -print vinyl records found at thrift stores, flea markets and the like somehow violates a serious legal mandate, please contact me and an attempt at remediation shall be made.
